Ranger-Net Rules
-- It is your responsibility to comply with these rules. Should you break any rules, law of New Jersey or international law, Ranger-Net cannot be made responsible for your actions.
-- Do not spam or flood. Spamming consists of repeating the same line multiple times in a rather short timeframe. If you spam in one non-official channel, it's up for the respective channel ops to deal with it. Spamming on a network-wide scale or in official channels will lead to network-wide consequences. The spam channel is excluded from that rule.
-- We do allow channels posting material not suitable for minors as long as they don't break any laws. However, such channels must be marked with channel mode +X and all users willing to join such channels have to set user mode +X on themselves. Any user posting age-restricted material in a channel without mode +X may face a network-wide punishment!
-- Currently, you may have two nickname groups, consisting of ten nicknames at maximum: One for bots and one for regular usage.
-- No evasion, this includes network-wide bans and channel bans! (Even including evasion of /ignore). Such evasion will earn you a network-wide punishment, decided by the irc op taking action. (Evasion includes actions such as: Intentionally using -x to display your IP and evade a ban on your hostmask, intentionally using /hs off to evade or simply abusing a dynamic IP.
-- Do not share your NickServ/ChanServ password with anyone. If you really want/need to give owner access to someone, use access level 9999.
-- No Cyberbullying! While this is something the irc ops cannot control, a user is adviced to use the /ignore function to "get rid" of the bully. If said bully evades the ignore function, they will be punished according to the evasion policy. More serious cases will be handled by the irc op available at the time being.
-We do not support any form of hate material. This includes hateful speech, hate channels, hate nicks and hate websites.
- You are not permitted to impersonate any user on the IRC network.
